I call myself a multimedia storyteller. By multimedia I don't only mean being able to produce TV or radio pieces and writing for print and online. The possibilities of the web go further: I have explored how to use videos in the digital age in an interactive web documentaries and through the use of data visualisations.
I have learnt my journalistic skills in TV, radio and online at a wide range of media organisations in Germany and the United Kingodom: from local television in Bavaria to the national public-service broadcaster BR, from being a newsreader and reporter for M94.5, a local radio station in Munich, to writing for Focus Online, one of Germany's most popular news websites.
I have an academic background in journalism and social sciences, excelling both in my undergraduate and Master studies.
My MA in Multimedia Journalism at the University of Westminster has not only equipped me with a critical understanding of journalistic ethics and media law, but also prepared me for 21st century storytelling.
During my BA in Communication Science at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and Journalism at the San Pablo University in Madrid, I have learnt about the wider context of the media landscape and acquired writing and production skills as well as a thorough education in statistics.
